The Society of Midwest Contesters (SMC) was formed in 1985 with the goal of uniting Midwest contesters into a competitive group and to further the idea of "radiosporting" in the Midwest. From 51 charter members in the summer of 1985, the SMC has grown to a membership of over 400 contesters who are located mainly in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin. The Society of Midwest Contesters badge is made using our full color process. Be sure to visit our full color web page to see other items that you may order with the SMC logo. The SMC logo appears at the top-center of the badge in black and white. Your call sign, first name and city & state appear in dark blue. The basic SMC name badge is $15.50 with a safety pin fastener. The sample displayed above has the optional slot & strap with swivel alligator clip and is $13. Click here to see other fastener choices.
