The Durham FM Association (DFMA) is located in Durham, North Carolina. The DFMA focuses on serving the Durham community and provides volunteers for many local events such as the March of Dimes Walk America, the Duke's Children's Classic and the Lions Club walk/run race. DFMA members are also very active in the Skywarn weather watcher program in cooperation with the Durham National Weather Service. DFMA club meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Picadilly Cafeteria located on the upper level of the South Square Mall at 7:00 pm. Get there around 6:00 pm to enjoy a meal and meet members. The Durham FMA hamfest is held on the last Saturday in May. A weekly radio net is held every Thursday at 8:30 pm on the 147.225 repeater. The Possum Trot net is held each weekday at 6:00 am on the 147.225 repeater. The Durham FM Association badge is made using our full color process.
