The Cherokee Amateur Radio Society (CARS) is located in Cherokee County, Georgia. CARS was formed to provide community service through Amateur Radio while recruiting new Hams to enjoy the fun and fellowship of the hobby. CARS members proudly participate in teaching "One Day Technician Classes" and assisting the Boy Scouts of America with radio merit badge requirements. Annual activities include a club sponsored Field Day (simulated emergency exercise), Jamboree On The Air (JOTA - Boy Scouts) and providing volunteer communication services for local events and parades. The Cherokee Amateur Radio Society badge is made using our full color process. Be sure to visit our full color web page to see other items that you may order with the CARS logo. The CARS name badge is $15.50 and includes our standard safety pin fastener. Click here to see other fastener choices.
