The Brightleaf Amateur Radio Club (BARC) is located in Greenville, North Carolina which is in Pitt County. The BARC's purpose is to further cooperation within their community of Amateur Radio Operators by promoting radio knowledge, operating efficiency and the exchange of information between members. A weekly radio net is held every Monday at 8 PM on the W4GDF 147.09 repeater. VE Sessions are usually held every even month (Feb, Apr, etc.) on the Friday before the third Saturday at 6:30 PM and the BARC is an ARRL Special Services Club.
